> Adoption du rapport sur la concurrence (http://lipietz.net/?article938)
par Joachim Denkinger | 20 novembre 2002 Notes après Adoption du rapport sur la concurrence
The most important successes from our perspective werePPE + ELDR failed by one vote to delete reference to services of general interest in paragraph 8 (am 10 rejected by 179:180:11) Report now asks for clear rules for securing supply of services of general interest (adoption am 4 of PSE 192:177:4 - roll call vote) ; Accession countries should be treated "equitably" taking onto account their problems of social cohesion (Green amendment 20 adopted by 190:178:6 roll call votes) ; Paragraphs 24 and 25 of the original draft, regretting lack of speed in liberalisation in electricity and gas and stating support for rapid and uniform progress towards liberalisation of postal services, transport and energy, have been deleted (adoption am 5 and 6 PSE with 196:168:1 resp. 188:169:2 votes. Amendment 23 of the Green/EFA, asking for quality of aid to be taken into account when assessing Member States aid practices, has been adopted by 192:166:5 votes. The negative points are mainlyWe lost the call for accessing the employment impact in merger decisions (amendment 2 of PSE rejected by 170:193:9 in a roll call vote) ; We were defeated on asking for priority being given to aid for climate protection (amendment 18 Green/EFA, 169:191:8) ; We also lost our amendment 22 on urging the Commission to achieve acknowledgement of SIG on WTO level/negotiations (179:189:4 in a roll call vote) ; Voir la présentation de la situation. |
