Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time

It's Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time...time to use up those scraps. I keep all of me solid coloured scraps in a drawer...but my patterned paper scraps are kept with the each  line. I had a whole 6" pad full of scraps to use for this one...strangely...the cloud background piece was already cut and sitting in this pad...I must have changed my mind while making a previous card...cool. The card base was not made with scraps...I did try though :P I love this super cute bunny cut. It actually has a balloon that cut's with it...but I decided to use the Stitched party dies and cut my own out of a bunch of little paper scraps. I loved this paper line...although I seem to love anything MME...this was an oldie...but a goody!!  Click HERE to check out the other DT projects at the My Creative Time blog. Pan down to check out the products that I used to make this card. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :)

Crafty Playtime's Sketch challenge

****I  have 2 posts today...pan up to check out the My Creative Time post****

The challenge this week at Crafty playtime is to use a sketch to base your project on...I used a sketch from  Mojo Mondays-#286. Click HERE to check out their sketches...here's a pic of it...

I love using sketches...it makes for a super fast card. The neat thing about sketches is that you don't have to use it literally...you can just use the idea. I used the square sketch...kept with the star idea...added 2 borders instead of one...and I added a super cute cat...what's not to like? Love how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by...Lee-Ann :) Click HERE to check out the other DT projects and to maybe play along and link up your own project!! Pan down to check out the products that I used.
