one of the things that delights me about this automotive hobby I'm enthusiastic about, is the sense of humor and variety of things that are included, like the 70s vans
This is mighty 70s, bowling, Evel Knievel, chopper bicycles, vans, Cragar SS rims, Spirit of 76 stars and stripes, and Thrush side pipes
that's all the time I have tonight, I'll post most of, or all of the rest of my GNRS coverage tomorrow
The GNRS was a great time today, after waiting in many lines, both in traffic to get into parking (take the White Ave exit off the 10 for gods sake, avoid an hour in the traffic jam on other ways to get to gate 9 parking) and to get the tickets, and every other thing people were in line for - but even in the parking lot there were fun things - like these vans

only had about 1/2 as much time tonight as yesterday to hoof it, so I didn't see much on the walk. I did see a couple cool vehicles though
love the choice of rims
todays stalker cat was out sneaking up on small dogs
This is the 1st slant back VW I've come across so far while out walking
So, was OU Miracle having a bit of fun with this? Or was their a sidewalk contractor business named Rhoades and Sinks? I saw a couple with the D backward too

seen on today's walk around the neighborhood
I know the earlier bugs had these small cool tail lights, but that just means to me that it's a very desireable pre-1970s bug. They must have been the last car to have running boards
wow! a 70s van! Just going to hell in the front yard, but still... it's still out there
damn, seriously, these Benz could probably outlast us all, but this one's not moved in a while
this happy cat was super glad to see me meandering along, NOT walking a dog, we buddied up for a minute, then I moved on.
and seriously, how perfect is this sidewalk stamp
there aren't many public works of art, but this is real cool. I forget to photograph the cool art I see
notice the big damn wrench on the garage
license plate expired in 2014, and with the flat tires, it's pretty clear it's been using up a good parking spot far too damn long
oh man, the stylists got the look of this grill right
Airing it out, or letting the kids play in it
just a Porsche Carrera 4 (whatever that means) that the owner isn't treating right. Look at the back window, and the damn duct tape. It's been parked here since 2011
Cobra Daytona replica and a dune buggy. People were home, so I decided to look on Google Street View instead of standing there taking a photo of their sports car. They might not be cool with that
