Situated in rocky terrain northwest of Lake Tiberias, the village was associated with a nearby well, Jubb Yussef (Joseph's Well), which was the site of a khan or caravan stopping place for centuries. The ruins are adjacent to the Israeli kibbutz of Ami'ad. (en)

- I don't have access to the text. "City" is too pompous for a tiny, new village - does he refer to it, or to Tiberias? Or is it mistranslated? (en)
