Glandyfi Castle has been a Grade II listed building since 1964 as "the only castellated country house in the county". As of April 2020, the castle was again on the market. The property contains a number of gardens planted at different times in its history. It is located close to the site of Aberdyfi Castle, which dates back to 1156. According to Visit Wales in 2019, the castle provided guest accommodations in eight rooms. A Country Life magazine report in 2020 indicated that the property had been listed for sale, as "a ten-bedroom, ten-bathroom, five-reception room home" with "medieval-style atrium". (en)
