- Derussification in Ukraine (Ukrainian: Дерусифікація/деросіянізація в Україні, romanized: Derusyfikatsiia/derosiyanizatsiia v Ukraïni) is a process of removing Russian influence from the country of Ukraine. Derussification began after the collapse of the USSR and intensified with the demolition of monuments to Lenin during Euromaidan and the further systemic process of decommunization in Ukraine. The Russo-Ukrainian War gave a strong impetus to the process. The process manifests itself in the renaming of toponyms named after Russian statesmen and cultural figures, or those that are believed to reflect Russianism and the Russian worldview, or are otherwise associated with Russia. Also part of the process is the dismantling of objects of the Russian rule (plaques, signs, monuments, busts, panels, etc.). As of April 8, 2022, according to a poll by the sociological group Rating, 76% of Ukrainians support the initiative to rename streets and other objects whose names are associated with Russia. (en)
- Дерусифікація (деросіянізація) в Україні — процес позбавлення від наслідків колоніального минулого, який розпочався в часи розпаду Російської імперії, але був перерваний, частково відбувся під час проведення політики коренізації, але був знову перерваний й врешті відновився лише після розпаду СРСР та стихійно активізувався під час ленінопаду в період Євромайдану й подальшого системного процесу декомунізації. Основним поштовхом до пожвавлення процесу також стала російська збройна агресія 2014 року. Процес виявляється в перейменуванні топонімів, названих на честь російських державних та культурних діячів, або таких, що є росіянізмами, чи таких, що відображають російський світогляд або пов'язані з Росією. Також частиною процесу є демонтаж об'єктів колоніального минулого (таблички, покажчики, пам'ятники, бюсти, панно тощо). (uk)
