Coy Clarence Privette (January 31, 1933 – March 23, 2015) was an American Baptist pastor, conservative activist, and politician active in the U.S. state of North Carolina. In 1976, Privette was an unsuccessful Republican candidate for Governor of North Carolina, losing in a primary runoff to David Flaherty. He later served four terms in the North Carolina House of Representatives (1985–1992). In 1992, he ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 8th congressional district.
