APPENDIX While, on one hand, INPDAP represents in our study the less performing entity in that it was late in applying performance measurement systems and digitalization, INPS, on the other hand, represents the best performer. Effective since 2012 and as a result of the Law Decree 201/2011, all public pension funds previously managed by INPDAP were transferred to INPS, in order to optimize the resources of those public institutes.
