- We then identify one VAT-ID as the “head VAT-ID†for each group of multiple VAT-IDs. This “head VAT-ID†will work as the identifier of the firm. We also make corrections on which VAT-ID becomes the “head VAT-ID†of the firm, so that the identifiers of the firms become consistent over time.
