Higgs Self-Coupling at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC / Adhikary, Amit (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Banerjee, Shankha (CERN) ; Barman, Rahool Kumar (Oklahoma State U.) ; Bhattacherjee, Biplob (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Niyogi, Saurabh (Gokhale Coll., Calcutta)
The Higgs boson pair production has been studied in multifarious final states at the HL-LHC and HE-LHC. The optimisation for separating signal from the backgrounds are performed using cut-based and machine learning algorithms like BDT, XGBoost toolkit and DNN. [...]

Prospects for exotic $h\rightarrow 4 \tau$ decays in single and di-Higgs boson production at the LHC and future hadron colliders / Adhikary, Amit (Warsaw U. ; Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Banerjee, Shankha (CERN) ; Barman, Rahool Kumar (Oklahoma State U.) ; Batell, Brian (Pittsburgh U.) ; Bhattacherjee, Biplob (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Bose, Camellia (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Qian, Zhuoni (Hangzhou Normal U.) ; Spannowsky, Michael (Durham U., IPPP)
We study the prospects for observing exotic decays of the Standard Model Higgs boson $h$ into light beyond the Standard Model scalars $a$ with mass $m_{a} \lesssim m_{h}/2$ in the single Higgs and Higgs pair production channels at the high luminosity run of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). Discovery prospects for single Higgs production in the gluon-gluon fusion and vector boson fusion modes with the Higgs boson decaying via the exotic mode $h \to aa \to 4\tau$ are analyzed at the HL-LHC. [...]

Prospects of non-resonant and resonant Higgs pair production at the HL-LHC / Adhikary, Amit (Warsaw U.) ; Banerjee, Shankha (CERN) ; Barman, Rahool Kumar (Oklahoma State U.) ; Bhattacherjee, Biplob (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Niyogi, Saurabh (Gokhale Coll., Calcutta)
We combined multiple final states ensuing from non-resonant Higgs pair production by optimising over each final state using multivariate techniques and put bounds on the self-coupling of Higgs by employing the log-likelihood confidence level hypothesis test. Further, we calculate the production cross-section limits from multifarious heavy Higgs decay channels, including resonant di-Higgs production, in a model-independent way and draw its impact on the MSSM parameter space at the HL-LHC..

The non-resonant and resonant Higgs pair production at the HL-LHC / Adhikary, Amit (Warsaw U. (main) ; Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Banerjee, Shankha (CERN) ; Barman, Rahool Kumar (Oklahoma State U.) ; Bhattacherjee, Biplob (Bangalore, Indian Inst. Sci.) ; Niyogi, Saurabh (Gokhale Coll., Calcutta)
Direct measurement of the Higgs self-coupling is crucial to understanding the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking, which requires observation of Higgs pair production. We study the prospects of observing the non-resonant Higgs pair production at the high luminosity run of the 14 TeV LHC (HL-LHC) upon considering various di-Higgs final states. [...]

Effective limits on single scalar extensions in the light of recent LHC data / Anisha (Indian Inst. Tech., Kanpur) ; Das Bakshi, Supratim (Indian Inst. Tech., Kanpur) ; Kumar Patra, Sunando (Bangabasi Coll.) ; Spannowsky, Michael (Durham U., IPPP)
In this paper, we work with 16 different single scalar particle extensions of the Standard Model. We present the sets of dimension-6 effective operators and the associated Wilson coefficients as functions of model parameters after integrating out the heavy scalars up to 1-loop, including the heavy-light mixing, for each such scenario. Phenomenological analysis of multi-pseudoscalar mediated dark matter models / Banerjee, Shankha (CERN) ; Bélanger, Geneviève (Annecy, LAPTH) ; Bhatia, Disha (IMSc, Chennai) ; Fuks, Benjamin (Paris, LPTHE) ; Raychaudhuri, Sreerup (Tata Inst.)
Non-minimal simplified extensions of the Standard Model have gained considerable currency in the context of dark matter searches at the LHC, since they predict enhanced mono-Higgs and mono-$W/Z$ signatures over large parts of the parameter space. However, these non-minimal models obviously lack the simplicity and directness of the original simplified models, and are more heavily dependent on the model assumptions. [...]

We study standard electroweak/Higgs processes at the high-energy lepton colliders ILC and CLIC. We identify a subset of three operators in the SMEFT that give leading contributions to these processes at high energies. [...]
