We summarize the discussions at a virtual Community Workshop on Cold Atoms in Space concerning the status of cold atom technologies, the prospective scientific and societal opportunities offered by their deployment in space, and the developments needed before cold atoms could be operated in space. The cold atom technologies discussed include atomic clocks, quantum gravimeters and accelerometers, and atom interferometers. [...]

AEDGE: Atomic Experiment for Dark Matter and Gravity Exploration in Space / AEDGE Collaboration
We propose in this White Paper a concept for a space experiment using cold atoms to search for ultra-light dark matter, and to detect gravitational waves in the frequency range between the most sensitive ranges of LISA and the terrestrial LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA/INDIGO experiments. This interdisciplinary experiment, called Atomic Experiment for Dark Matter and Gravity Exploration (AEDGE), will also complement other planned searches for dark matter, and exploit synergies with other gravitational wave detectors. Angular analysis of $B^0_d \to K^{*}\mu^+\mu^-$ decays in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
An angular analysis of the decay $B^0_d \rightarrow K^{*}\mu^+\mu^-$ is presented, based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The study is using 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected during 2012 at centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV. [...]

Search for electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in final states with two or three leptons at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for the electroweak production of charginos, neutralinos and sleptons decaying into final states involving two or three electrons or muons is presented. The analysis is based on 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV proton--proton collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. [...]

Performance of missing transverse momentum reconstruction with the ATLAS detector using proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
The performance of the missing transverse momentum (E$_{T}^{miss}$) reconstruction with the ATLAS detector is evaluated using data collected in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV in 2015. To reconstruct E$_{T}^{miss}$, fully calibrated electrons, muons, photons, hadronically decaying $\tau$-leptons, and jets reconstructed from calorimeter energy deposits and charged-particle tracks are used. According to the procurement agreement with the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor project, the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP) in China is responsible for the construction and performance testing of 31 sets of feeder systems, which contain also 60 high-temperature superconducting (HTS) current leads. In 2014/2015, three pairs of prototype current leads of three different types are being built and tested. [...]

Search for squarks and gluinos in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum using 36 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV $pp$ collision data with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for the supersymmetric partners of quarks and gluons (squarks and gluinos) in final states containing hadronic jets and missing transverse momentum, but no electrons or muons, is presented. The data used in this search were recorded in 2015 and 2016 by the ATLAS experiment in $\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV proton--proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$. Search for long-lived charginos based on a disappearing-track signature in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents a search for direct electroweak gaugino or gluino pair production with a chargino nearly mass-degenerate with a stable neutralino. It is based on an integrated luminosity of 36.1 $fb^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. [...]

Search for top-squark pair production in final states with one lepton, jets, and missing transverse momentum using 36 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The results of a search for the direct pair production of top squarks, the supersymmetric partner of the top quark, in final states with one isolated electron or muon, several energetic jets, and missing transverse momentum are reported. The analysis also targets spin-0 mediator models, where the mediator decays into a pair of dark-matter particles and is produced in association with a pair of top quarks. [...]
