Laser spectroscopy measurements have been carried out on the very neutron-rich tin isotopes with the COMPLIS experimental setup. Using the 5s 2 5p 2 3 P 0 → 5s 2 5p6s 3 P 1 optical transition, hyperfine spectra of 126–132 Sn and 125 m ,127 m ,129 m –131 m Sn where recorded for the first time. [...]

A negative magnetic moment of $^{23}$Mg has been determined by collinear laser spectroscopy at CERN-ISOLDE. The absolute value is in agreement with previous measurements by nuclear magnetic resonance while the sign points at high-seniority configurations. [...]
