A study of local multiplicity fluctuations in charged particle production in Xe-Xe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.44 TeV using ALICE / Banoo, Zarina (Jammu U.) ; Gupta, Ramni (Jammu U.) /ALICE Collaboration
A fundamental characteristic of the critical behaviour of a system undergoing phase transition is that it exhibits fluctuations of all scales. The most efficient way to address fluctuations of a system created in a heavy-ion collision is to investigate event-by-event (E-by-E) fluctuations, where a given observable is measured on an event-by-event basis, and the fluctuations are studied over the ensemble of the events. Local Multiplicity Fluctuations in Pb−Pb Collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV with ALICE at the LHC / Sharma, Sheetal (Jammu U.) ; Gupta, Ramni (Jammu U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Local multiplicity fluctuations are an useful tool to understand the dynamics of the particle production and the phase-space changes from quarks to hadrons in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. The study of scaling behavior of multiplicity fluctuations in geometrical configurations in multiparticle production can be performed using the factorial moments and recognized in terms of a phenomenon referred to as intermittency. Skewness of event-by-event $\langle p_\mathrm{T}\rangle$ distribution of charged particles at LHC energies with ALICE / Saha, Swati (HBNI, Mumbai ; NISER, Jatni) /ALICE Collaboration
In ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions, a hot and dense nuclear state of matter known as the quark–gluon plasma (QGP) is formed, in which quarks and gluons are no longer confined within hadrons. The space–time evolution of the QGP is known to be governed by hydrodynamic equations of state. [...]

Production of $\Lambda$ and $K^0_s$ in jets in p–Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV and pp collisions at $\sqrt {s}$=7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of $\Lambda$ baryons and ${\rm K}^{0}_{\rm S}$ mesons (${\rm V}^{0}$ particles) was measured in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5$ TeV and pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV with ALICE at the LHC. The production of these strange particles is studied separately for particles associated with hard scatterings and the underlying event to shed light on the baryon-to-meson ratio enhancement observed at intermediate transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) in high multiplicity pp and p-Pb collisions. First measurement of antideuteron number fluctuations at energies available at the Large Hadron Collider / ALICE Collaboration
The first measurement of event-by-event antideuteron number fluctuations in high energy heavy-ion collisions is presented. The measurements are carried out at midrapidity ($|\eta| < 0.8$) as a function of collision centrality in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV using the ALICE detector. [...]

Multi-Strange Particle production with ALICE at LHC energies / Sharma, Upasana (Jammu U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE Experiment focuses on studying the physics of strongly interacting matter at extreme energy densities, i.e. the properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) that is a state of matter produced in the laboratory by colliding Heavy Ions at ultra-relativistic energy. [...]

Hadronic resonance production in ALICE / Malik, Nasir Mehdi (Jammu U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Hadronic resonances are useful to understand the hadronic phase created in heavyion collisions at ultrarelativistic energies. At the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energies resonances with lifetimes (∼10 femtoseconds) similar to the duration of the fireball at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energies, possess the sensitivity to the competing dynamics of rescattering and regeneration. [...]
