The nuclear charge distribution of fission products of thermal neutron induced fission of /sup 235/U / Wollnik, H ; Fiedler, G ; Greif, J ; Siegert, G
Nuclear charge distributions of mass separated light fission products, 79<A<103, have been measured at various kinetic energies and ionic charges using a surface barrier Delta E-silicon detector. After averaging over all energies and ionic charges a very pronounced proton odd-even effect and a smaller neutron odd-even effect is found which results in periodical variations of the average nuclear charge, the variance, the skewness, and the excess. Nuclear charge and mass yields for $^{235}U(n_{th}, f)$ / Clerc, H G ; Lang, W ; Schmidt, K H ; Schrader, H ; Wohlfarth, H
The fission product mass spectrometer 'Lohengrin' has been used to determine the mass and nuclear charge yields of light fission products as a function of their kinetic energy in the range 88.5 MeV<or=E<or =112.0 MeV. The proton pairing causes fine structures in the yields even at low kinetic energy. [...]

The transformation of the uranium nucleus into a separated two fragment configuration has been found to be possible without appreciably heating the fragments via intrinsic excitation or deformation. A small part of the fragmentations in thermal neutron induced fission proceeds with a release of mutual kinetic energy of the fission fragments, which is not far from the total Q-value of each fragmentation 1 permille of all fragmentations occur with an excitation energy smaller than 7 MeV, an excitation energy of the fragments not larger than the excitation energy of the fissioning nucleus after thermal neutron capture. High resolution measurements of neutron induced fission cross- sections of $^{236,238}U,^{232}Th$ and $^{237}Np$ from 1 eV to 1 MeV / Cennini, Paolo ; Chiaveri, Enrico ; Doroshenko, A ; Ferrari, A ; Furman, W ; Goverdovski, A A (Institute of Physics and Power Engineering, Obninsk, Russia) ; Ketelerov, V ; Kolokolov, D ; Konovalov, V ; Mengoni, A et al.
Detailed study of intermediate structure of deep-sub-barrier fission cross-section was done for a set of actinide nuclei. Discrepancies with previous data and evaluated data files are found for /sup 236/U and /sup 237/Np in resolved resonance region. [...]
