U.) ; Bastin, B (KU Leuven, FET) ; Bauer, C (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Bernards, C (Yale U.) ; Bettermann, L (Cologne U.) et al.
We report on the study of excited states in $^{92,94,96}Kr$ populated via projectile Coulomb excitation at safe energies. The radioactive ion beams at energies of 2.85 MeV/u were delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN and impinged on self-supporting $^{194,196}Pt$ targets. [...]

Onset of collectivity in $^{96,98}$Sr studied via Coulomb excitation / Clement, E (GANIL) ; GöRgen, A (Oslo U.) ; Dijon, A (GANIL) ; de France, G (GANIL) ; Bastin, B (GANIL) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) ; Bree, N (KU Leuven, Dept. A rapid onset of quadrupole deformation is known to occur around the neutron number 60 in the neutron-rich Zr and Sr isotopes. This shape change has made the neutron-rich A = 100 region an active area of experimental and theoretical studies for many decades now. [...]

Low-energy Coulomb excitation of $^{96,98}$Sr beams / Clément, E (GANIL ; CERN) ; Zielińska, M (IRFU, Saclay ; Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab) ; Péru, S (CEA DAM) ; Goutte, H (IRFU, Saclay) ; Hilaire, S (CEA DAM) ; Görgen, A (Oslo U.) ; Korten, W (IRFU, Saclay) ; Doherty, D T (IRFU, Saclay ; York U., England) ; Bastin, B (GANIL) ; Bauer, C (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) et al.
The structure of neutron-rich $^{96,98}$Sr nuclei was investigated by low-energy safe Coulomb excitation of radioactive beams at the REX-ISOLDE facility, CERN, with the MINIBALL spectrometer. A rich set of transitional and diagonal E2 matrix elements, including those for non-yrast structures, has been extracted from the differential Coulomb-excitation cross sections. [...]

The neutron deficient $^{188–198}$Pb isotopes have been studied in a Coulomb excitation measurement employing the Miniball spectrometer and radioactive beams from REX-ISOLDE, CERN. These isotopes are of particular importance as they lie in a transitional region, where the intruding structures, associated with different deformed shapes, come down in energy close to the spherical ground state. Shell Structure and Shape Changes in Neutron Rich Krypton Isotopes / Mücher, D (Cologne U.) ; Iwanicki, J (Warsaw U.) ; Jolie, J (Cologne U.) ; Stefanescu, I (Leuven U.) ; de Walle, J Van (Leuven U.) ; Becker, F (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Bergmann, U (CERN) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) ; Bouchez, E (IRFU, SPhN, Saclay) ; Butler, P (Liverpool U.) et al.
B(E2;2$_{1}^{+}$ $\rightarrow$0$_{1}^{+})$ values have been measured for the unstable nuclei $^{88}$ Kr (N = 52) and $^{92}$Kr (N = 56) using projectile Coulomb excitation at ISOLDE, CERN. With this experiment the local maximum in E(2$_{1}^{+}$) in $^{92}$Kr and the role of the N = 56 subshell closure can be studied..

The structure of low-spin states originating from shape-coexisting configurations in $^{68}_{40}$Ni$_{28}$ was directly probed via the two-neutron transfer reaction $^{66}$Ni$(t,p)^{68}$Ni in inverse kinematics using a radioactive ion beam on a radioactive target. The direct feeding to the first excited 0$^+$ state was measured for center-of-mass angles 4°–16° and amounts to an integral of 4.2(16)% relative to the ground state. [...]

Evidence for a smooth onset of deformation in the neutron-rich Kr isotopes / REX-ISOLDE Collaboration
The neutron-rich nuclei $^{94,96}$Kr were studied via projectile Coulomb excitation at the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. Level energies of the first excited 2$^{+}$ states and their absolute $E2$ transition strengths to the ground state are determined and discussed in the context of the $E(2^{+}_{1})$ and $B(E2;2^{+}_{1} \rightarrow 0^{+}_{1})$ systematics of the krypton chain.
