Cellulose-based paper electronics is an attractive technology to meet the growing demands for naturally abundant, biocompatible, biodegradable, flexible, inexpensive, lightweight and highly miniaturizable sensory materials. The price reduction of industrial carbon nanotube (CNT) grades offers opportunities to manufacture electrically conductive papers whose resistivity is responsive to environmental stimuli, such as the presence of water or organic solvents. Radiation hard monolithic CMOS sensors with small electrodes for the HL-LHC and beyond / Solans Sánchez, Carlos  (CERN) ; Allport, Philip (Birmingham U.) ; Asensi Tortajada, Ignacio  (CERN ; Valencia U.) ; Bortoletto, Daniela (Oxford U.) ; Buttar, Craig (Glasgow U.) ; Cardella, Roberto (CERN ; Oslo U.) ; Dachs, Florian (CERN ; Vienna U.) ; Dao, Valerio (CERN) ; Denizli, Haluk (Abant Izzet Baysal U.) ; Dyndal, Mateusz (CERN) et al.
The upgrade of tracking detectors for experiments at the HL-LHC and future colliders requires the development of novel radiation hard silicon sensors. We target the replacement of hybrid pixel detectors with Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (DMAPS) that are radiation hard monolithic CMOS sensors. [...]

The Detector Safety System is the last line of defence to protect the ATLAS detector against abnormal and potentially even unforeseen situations. It is designed to return the detector to a safe state based on predefined actions triggered by alarms which are triggered on their part by specific sets of conditions. [...]

The last couple of years have seen the development of Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (DMAPS) fabricated in TowerJazz 180nm with a process modification to increase the radiation tolerance. While many of MAPS developments focus on low radiation environment, we have taken the development to high radiation environment like pp-experiments at High Luminosity LHC [...]

MALTA monolithic pixel sensors in TowerJazz 180 nm technology / Solans Sánchez, C (CERN) ; Allport, P (Birmingham U.) ; Asensi Tortajada, I (CERN) ; Berlea, D V (Oslo U.) ; Bortoletto, D (Oxford U.) ; Dachs, F (CERN) ; Dao, V (CERN) ; Denizli, H (Abant Izzet Baysal U.) ; Dobrijevic, D (CERN ; Zagreb U.) ; Dyndal, M (CERN) et al.
Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors are of highest interest at the HL-LHC and beyond for the replacement of the Pixel trackers in the outermost layers of experiments where the requirement on total area and cost effectiveness is much bigger. They aim to provide high granularity and low material budget over large surfaces with ease of integration. [...]

Recent measurements on MiniMALTA, a radiation hard CMOS sensor with small collection electrodes for ATLAS / ATLAS Collaboration
The upgrade of the ATLAS tracking detector for the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider at CERN requires the development of novel radiation hard silicon sensor technologies. The MALTA Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor prototypes have been developed with the 180 nm TowerJazz CMOS imaging technology. This combines the engineering of high-resistivity sub- strates with on-chip high-voltage biasing to achieve a large depleted active sensor volumes, to meet the radiation hardness requirements of the outer barrel layers of the ATLAS ITK Pixel de- tector (1.5× 10$^{15}$ 1 MeV n$_{eq}$/cm$^{2}$ and 80 MRad TID). Planning of Interventions With the Atlas Expert System / Asensi Tortajada, Ignacio (CERN ; Valencia U.) ; Rummler, Andre (CERN) ; Solans Sanchez, Carlos (CERN) ; Torres Pais, Jose (Valencia U.)
The ATLAS Technical Coordination Expert System is a tool for the simulation of the ATLAS experiment infrastructure that combines information from diverse areas such as detector control (DCS) and safety systems (DSS), gas, water, cooling, ventilation, cryogenics, and electricity distribution. It allows the planning of an intervention during technical stops and maintenance periods, and it is being used during the LS2 to provide an additional source of information for the planning of interventions. (Bonn U.) ; Buttar, C. (Glasgow U.) et al.
Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor (DMAPS) prototypes developed in the TowerJazz 180 nm CMOS imaging process have been designed in the context of the ATLAS upgrade Phase-II at the HL-LHC. The pixel sensors are characterized by a small collection electrode (3 $\mu$m) to minimize capacitance, a small pixel size ($36.4\times 36.4$ $\mu$m), and are produced on high resistivity epitaxial p-type silicon.
