Supersymmetric Pati-Salam Models from Intersecting D-Branes / Everett, L.L. (CERN ; Michigan U.) ; Kane, Gordon L. (Michigan U.) ; King, S.F. (Southampton U.) ; Rigolin, S. (CERN ; Michigan U.) ; Wang, Lian-Tao (Michigan U.)
We explore supersymmetric Type I string-motivated three-family scenarios in which the Standard Model is embedded within two sets of intersecting D branes with U(1)-extended Pati-Salam gauge groups. We study a model inspired by the Shiu-Tye Type IIB orientifold, in which a three-family scenario is obtained by assuming that the gauge symmetry breaking takes place in two stages: the Pati-Salam group arises from diagonal breaking of the U(N) gauge groups, which is then broken to the SM gauge group. Three-Family Particle Physics Models from Global F-theory Compactifications / Cvetic, Mirjam (Pennsylvania U.) ; Klevers, Denis (CERN) ; Peña, Damián Kaloni Mayorga (ICTP, Trieste) ; Oehlmann, Paul-Konstantin (Bonn U.) ; Reuter, Jonas (Bonn U.)
We construct four-dimensional, globally consistent F-theory models with three chiral generations, whose gauge group and matter representations coincide with those of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, the Pati-Salam Model and the Trinification Model. These models result from compactification on toric hypersurface fibrations $X$ with the choice of base $\mathbb{P}^3$. [...]

A Pati-Salam model from branes / Leontaris, George K ; Rizos, J
We explore the possibility of embedding the Pati-Salam model in the context of Type I brane models. We study a generic model with U(4)_C x U(2)_L x U(2)_R gauge symmetry and matter fields compatible with a Type I brane configuration. [...]

Gauge Couplings Evolution from the Standard Model, through Pati–Salam Theory, into E$_{8}$ Unification of Families and Forces / Aranda, Alfredo (Colima U. ; Dual C-P Inst. High Energy Phys.) ; de Anda, Francisco J. (Tepatitlan's Inst. Theor. Studies) ; Morais, António P. (Aveiro U. ; CERN) ; Pasechnik, Roman (Lund U., Dept. Theor. Phys.)
We explore the potential of ultimate unification of the Standard Model matter and gauge sectors into a single $E_8$ superfield in ten dimensions via an intermediate Pati-Salam gauge theory. Through a consistent realisation of a $\mathbb{T}^6/(\mathbb{Z}_6\times \mathbb{Z}_2)$ orbifolding procedure accompanied by the Wilson line breaking mechanism and Renormalisation Group evolution of gauge couplings, we have established several benchmark scenarios for New Physics that are worth further phenomenological exploration..

The "landscape" of Pati--Salam heterotic superstring vacua / Rizos, J (University of Ioannina)
The main aspects of a recently developed method for classification of heterotic superstring vacua in the Free Fermionic Formulation are presented. Using these techniques we classify a big number of approximately $10^{15}$ heterotic string vacua with Pati--Salam, SU(4)x{SU(2)}_Lx{SU(2)}_R gauge symmetry with respect to their main phenomenological features as the number of families, Pati--Salam breaking Higgs, Standard Model Higgs doublets, additional triplets and exotic charge states.
