Trigger, Reconstruction and Physics Performances in LHCb / Lazzeroni, Cristina (Cambridge U.)
The LHCb experiment at LHC is a single-armed spectrometer designed to pursue extensive, high precision studies of CP violation and rare phenomena in $b$ hadron decays. In this contribution, the trigger and reconstruction performance are summarized, and the expected performance for selected $b$ physics measurements is discussed..

Measurement of electrons from charm and beauty-hadron decays in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ 5.02 TeV with ALICE at the LHC / Wagner, Jan (Darmstadt, EMMI)
The p(T)-differential production cross section of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in the rapidity range -1.06 < y(cms) < 0.14 in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV has been measured with ALICE. The cross section of electrons from beauty-hadron decays, isolated based on their larger average displacement from the interaction vertex, is presented as well as the nuclear modification factor R(pPb) of heavy-flavour and beauty-hadron decay electrons. [...]

Measurement of electrons from heavy-flavour decays in pp and Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Kweon, MinJung (Heidelberg U.) /for the ALICE collaboration
The ALICE experiment has measured at mid-rapidity electrons from heavy-flavour decays in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 2.76 and 7 TeV, and in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV. In pp collisions, electrons from charm-hadron and from beauty-hadron decays are identified by applying cuts on displaced vertices. [...]
