The excited states of $N=44$$^{74}$Zn were investigated via $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy following $^{74}$Cu $\beta$ decay. By exploiting $\gamma$-$\gamma$ angular correlation analysis, the $2_2^+$, $3_1^+$, $0_2^+$ and $2_3^+$ states in $^{74}$Zn were firmly established. [...]

We have measured the cross section of the $^{83}$Rb(p,$\gamma)^{84}$Sr radiative capture reaction in inverse kinematics using a radioactive beam of $^{83}$Rb at incident energies of 2.4 and $2.7 A$ MeV. Prior to the radioactive beam measurement, the $^{84}$Kr(p,$\gamma)^{85}$Rb radiative capture reaction was measured in inverse kinematics using a stable beam of $^{84}$Kr at an incident energy of $2.7 A$ MeV. (Queen's U., Kingston) ; Svensson, C.E. (Guelph U.) ; Ali, F.A. (Guelph U. ; Sulaimaniya U.) ; Andreoiu, C. (Simon Fraser U., Dept. Chem.) ; Bernier, N. The half-life of the superallowed Fermi $\beta^+$ emitter $^{14}$O was determined to high precision via a direct $\beta$ counting experiment performed at the Isotope Separator and Accelerator (ISAC) facility at TRIUMF. The result, $T_{1/2}$($^{14}$O) = 70619.2(76) ms, is consistent with, but is more precise than, the world average obtained from 11 previous measurements. [...]

Design and performance of a novel low energy multispecies beamline for an antihydrogen experiment / ALPHA Collaboration
The ALPHA Collaboration, based at the CERN Antiproton Decelerator, has recently implemented a novel beamline for low-energy ($\lesssim$ 100 eV) positron and antiproton transport between cylindrical Penning traps that have strong axial magnetic fields. Here, we describe how a combination of semianalytical and numerical calculations were used to optimise the layout and design of this beamline. [...]

Nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al and its implication for V$_{ud}$ in the quark-mixing matrix / Plattner, P. (CERN ; Innsbruck U. ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Wood, E. (Liverpool U.) ; Ayoubi, L. Al (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Beliuskina, O. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bissell, M.L. (Manchester U. ; CERN) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Campbell, P. (Manchester U.) ; Cheal, B. (Liverpool U.) ; de Groote, R.P. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Devlin, C.S. (Liverpool U.) et al.
Collinear laser spectroscopy was performed on the isomer of the aluminium isotope $^{26m}$Al. The measured isotope shift to $^{27}$Al in the $3s^{2}3p\;^{2}\!P^\circ_{3/2} \rightarrow 3s^{2}4s\;^{2}\!S_{1/2}$ atomic transition enabled the first experimental determination of the nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al, resulting in $R_c$=\qty{3.130±.015}{\femto\meter}. Isomeric excitation energy for $^{99}$In$^{m}$ from mass spectrometry reveals constant trend next to doubly magic $^{100}$Sn / Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Atanasov, D. (TRIUMF ; McGill U.) ; Karthein, J. (MIT) ; Kulikov, I. (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The excitation energy of the 1/2$^-$ isomer in $^{99}$In at ${N=50}$ is measured to be 671(37) keV and the mass uncertainty of the 9/2$^+$ ground state is significantly reduced using the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN. The measurements exploit a major improvement in the resolution of the multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer. [...]

Nuclear mass measurements of isotopes are key to improving our understanding of nuclear structure across the chart of nuclides, in particular for the determination of the appearance or disappearance of nuclear shell closures. We present high-precision mass measurements of neutron-rich Ca, Ti and V isotopes performed at the TITAN and LEBIT facilities. [...]

High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the $N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer, with the silver ions produced using the recently commissioned inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly determined for the first time. [...]

Mass measurements continue to provide invaluable information for elucidating nuclear structure and scenarios of astrophysical interest. The transition region between the $Z = 20$ and $28$ proton shell closures is particularly interesting due to the onset and evolution of nuclear deformation as nuclei become more neutron rich. [...]
