Strangeness production in Pb-Pb collisions at LHC energies with ALICE / Šefčík, Michal (Kosice U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The results on the production of strange and multi-strange hadrons ($K_{s}^{0}$, $\wedge$ , $\Xi$  and $\Omega$) measured with ALICE in Pb-Pb collisions at the top LHC energy of $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$  = 5.02 TeV are reported. Thanks to its excellent tracking and particle identification capabilities, ALICE is able to measure weakly decaying particles through the topological reconstruction of the identified hadronic decay products. Strange hadron production in pp, pPb, and PbPb collisions at LHC energies / Ni, Hong (Vanderbilt U.) /CMS Collaboration
Identified particle spectra provide an important tool for understanding the particle production mechanism and the dynamical evolution of the medium created in relativistic heavy ion collisions. Studies involving strange and multi-strange hadrons, such as $K_{s}^{0}$, Λ, and $\Xi^-$, carry additional information since there is no net strangeness content in the initial colliding system. [...]

Strange and multi-strange particle production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with ALICE / Yin, Zhongbao (Hua-Zhong Normal U., LQLP) /for the ALICE collaboration
We present ALICE results on strange and multi-strange hadron production as a function of centrality in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV at the LHC. Their transverse momentum spectra, yields and particle ratios are compared to the corresponding measurements in pp collisions to address strangeness enhancement and high $p_{\rm T}$ particle suppression. Strangeness in jets and in the underlying event in hadronic collisions at the LHC / Zhang, Xiaoming (speaker) (Central China Normal University, Wuhan (CN), for the ALICE Collaboration)
ALICE measurements have shown that the inclusive production of (multi-)strange particles smoothly increases as a function of the size of the collision system, as measured by charged-particle multiplicity in pp, p-Pb, and Pb-Pb collisions. Further investigation revealed an overall enhancement in the yield of strange baryons relative to mesons in collisions with higher multiplicity for all systems, possibly due to the effects of collective radial flow and recombination of quarks [...]

Strange and Multi-Strange Particle Production in ALICE / Chinellato, D.D. (Houston U.) /for the ALICE collaboration
The production of strange and multi-strange hadrons in proton-proton (pp) and lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions is studied with the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC. These particles are reconstructed via their weak decay topologies, exploiting the tracking and particle identification capabilities of ALICE. [...]

Results from NA57 / Dainese, Andrea (Padua U.)
The NA57 experiment has measured the production of strange and multi-strange hadrons in heavy-ion collisions at the CERN SPS. After briefly introducing the NA57 apparatus and analysis procedures, we present recent results on strangeness enhancement in Pb-Pb relative to p-Be collisions, on the study of the m_T distributions of strange particles, and on central-to-peripheral nuclear modification factors in Pb-Pb collisions at top SPS energy..

Strangeness with ALICE: from pp to Pb-Pb / Abelev, Betty (LLNL, Livermore) /for the ALICE collaboration
We present the measurements of strange and multi-strange hadrons in high energy pp and Pb-Pb collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. The data for these measurements were collected by the ALICE detector in 2010 and 2011. [...]

Strange and Non-strange Light-Flavour Hadron Production in Pb–Pb and p–Pb Collisions at LHC Energies with ALICE / Šefčík, Michal (Kosice U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE experiment is dedicated to the study of strongly interacting matter at the extremely high temperatures and energy densities reached at the LHC. We report on the production of $\mathrm {\pi }$, K and p measured with ALICE in p–Pb and Pb–Pb collisionsPb–Pb collisions at the top LHC energies of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm {NN}}}~=$ 8.16 and 5.02 TeV, respectively, as well as on the production of $\mathrm {\Lambda }$, $\mathrm {\Xi }$ and $\mathrm {\Omega }$ in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm {NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeVPb–Pb collisions. Multi-strange baryon production in Pb-Pb and pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC / Colella, Domenico (Bari U. ; INFN, Bari) /ALICE Collaboration
The production of $\Xi^{-}$ and $\Omega^{-}$ baryons and their anti-particles in Pb-Pb and pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV has been measured by the ALICE collaboration. The transverse momentum spectra at mid-rapidity (|y| < 0.5) in pp and Pb-Pb collisions for five centrality intervals have been compared with model predictions. [...]

Strangeness Production at LHC energies as measured with ALICE / Chinellato, D D (U. Campinas) /ALICE
The main objective of the ALICE experiment is to study the properties and the evolution of the high-energy density system created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the LHC. For that purpose, ALICE has unique particle identification capabilities that enable the detection of weakly-decaying particles in the high-multiplicity environment created in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions.
