On the Modelling of Energetic Multi-jet QCD Events / Turgeman, Daniel (Weizmann Inst.) ; Pitt, Michael (CERN) ; Roth, Itamar (Weizmann Inst.) ; Duchovni, Ehud (Weizmann Inst.)
Physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) may be unveiled by studying events with a high number of outgoing jets, produced at the LHC with energies above the TeV scale (energetic multi-jet events). Such events are dominated by QCD processes, where the calculations rely on some sort of approximation. [...]

Relaxion and light (pseudo)scalars at the HL-LHC and lepton colliders / Frugiuele, Claudia (Weizmann Inst.) ; Fuchs, Elina (Weizmann Inst.) ; Perez, Gilad (Weizmann Inst.) ; Schlaffer, Matthias (Weizmann Inst.)
We study the potential of future lepton colliders, running at the Z-pole and above, and the High-Luminosity LHC to search for the relaxion and other light scalars $\phi$. We investigate the interplay of direct searches and precision observables for both CP-even and -odd couplings. [...]

Implications of the LHCb discovery of CP violation in charm decays / Dery, Avital (Cornell U., LEPP) ; Nir, Yosef (Weizmann Inst.)
The recent measurement of $\Delta A_{CP}$ by the LHCb collaboration requires an ${\cal O}(10)$ enhancement coming from hadronic physics in order to be explained within the SM. We examine to what extent can NP models explain $\Delta A_{CP}$ without such enhancements. [...]

Towards a Computer Vision Particle Flow / Di Bello, Francesco Armando (U. Rome La Sapienza (main) ; INFN, Rome) ; Ganguly, Sanmay (Weizmann Inst.) ; Gross, Eilam (Weizmann Inst.) ; Kado, Marumi (U. In High Energy Physics experiments Particle Flow (PFlow) algorithms are designed to provide an optimal reconstruction of the nature and kinematic properties of the particles produced within the detector acceptance during collisions. At the heart of PFlow algorithms is the ability to distinguish the calorimeter energy deposits of neutral particles from those of charged particles, using the complementary measurements of charged particle tracking devices, to provide a superior measurement of the particle content and kinematics. The $v^{1/3}_{3}/v^{1/2}_{2}$ ratio in PbAu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} = $ 17.3 GeV: a hint of a hydrodynamic behavior / CERES NA45 Collaboration
The Fourier harmonics, $v_2$ and $v_3$ of negative pions are measured at center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$= 17.3 GeV around midrapidity by the CERES/NA45 experiment at the CERN SPS in 0--30% central PbAu collisions with a mean centrality of 5.5%. The analysis is performed in two centrality bins as a function of the transverse momentum $\mathrm{p_{\mathrm{T}}}$ from 0.05 GeV/$c$ to more than 2 GeV/$c$. [...]

Azimuthal correlations in photoproduction and deep inelastic $ep$ scattering at HERA / ZEUS Collaboration
Collective behaviour of final-state hadrons, and multiparton interactions are studied in high-multiplicity $ep$ scattering at a centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=318$ GeV with the ZEUS detector at HERA. Two- and four-particle azimuthal correlations, as well as multiplicity, transverse momentum, and pseudorapidity distributions for charged-particle multiplicities $N_{\textrm ch} \geq 20$ are measured.
