Neutron-induced fission cross section of Np237 in the keV to MeV range at the CERN n_TOF facility
/ Diakaki, M ; Karadimos, D ; Vlastou, R ; Kokkoris, M ; Demetriou, P ; Skordis, E ; Tsinganis, A ; Abbondanno, U ; Aerts, G ; Álvarez, H et al.
The neutron-induced fission cross section of Np237 was experimentally determined at the high-resolution and high-intensity facility n_TOF, at CERN, in the energy range 100 keV to 9 MeV, using the U235(n,f) and U238(n,f) cross section standards below and above 2 MeV, respectively. A fast ionization chamber was used in order to detect the fission fragments from the reactions and the targets were characterized as far as their mass and homogeneity are concerned by means of α spectroscopy and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy respectively. Neutron-induced fission cross section of U234 measured at the CERN n_TOF facility
/ Karadimos, D ; Vlastou, R ; Ioannidis, K ; Demetriou, P ; Diakaki, M ; Vlachoudis, V (CERN) ; Pavlopoulos, P ; Konovalov, V ; Abbondanno, U ; Aerts, G et al.
The neutron-induced fission cross section of U234 has been measured at the CERN n_TOF facility relative to the standard fission cross section of U235 from 20 keV to 1.4 MeV and of U238 from 1.4 to 200 MeV. A fast ionization chamber (FIC) was used as a fission fragment detector with a detection efficiency of no less than 97%. [...]

Validation of Cross Sections with Criticality Experiment and Reaction Rates: the Neptunium Case
/ Leong, L S (Orsay, IPN) ; Tassan-Got, L (Orsay, IPN) ; Audouin, L (Orsay, IPN) ; Berthier, B (Orsay, IPN) ; Le Naour, C (Orsay, IPN) ; Stéphan, C (Orsay, IPN) ; Paradela, C (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Tarrío, D (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Duran, I (Santiago de Compostela U.)
The Np-237 neutron-induced fission cross section has been recently measured in a large energy range (from eV to GeV) at the n\_TOF facility at CERN. When compared to previous measurements the n\_TOF fission cross section appears to be higher by 5-7\% beyond the fission threshold. [...]

Measurement of the $^{240} \text{Pu(n,f)}$ cross-section at the CERN n_TOF facility: First results from experimental area II (EAR-2)
/ Stamatopoulos, A (Natl. Tech. U., Athens) ; Tsinganis, A (Natl. Tech. U., Athens ; CERN) ; Colonna, N ; Vlastou, R ; Kokkoris, M ; Schillebeeckx, P ; Plompen, A ; Heyse, J ; Žugec, P ; Barbagallo, M et al.
The accurate knowledge of the neutron-induced fission cross-sections of actinides and other isotopes involved in the nuclear fuel cycle is essential for the design of advanced nuclear systems, such as Generation-IV nuclear reactors. Such experimental data can also provide the necessary feedback for the adjustment of nuclear model parameters used in the evaluation process, resulting in the further development of nuclear fission models.
