The $v^{1/3}_{3}/v^{1/2}_{2}$ ratio in PbAu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} = $ 17.3 GeV: a hint of a hydrodynamic behavior / CERES NA45 Collaboration
The Fourier harmonics, $v_2$ and $v_3$ of negative pions are measured at center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$= 17.3 GeV around midrapidity by the CERES/NA45 experiment at the CERN SPS in 0--30% central PbAu collisions with a mean centrality of 5.5%. The analysis is performed in two centrality bins as a function of the transverse momentum $\mathrm{p_{\mathrm{T}}}$ from 0.05 GeV/$c$ to more than 2 GeV/$c$. [...]

Detector design and performance tests of the ESS-neutron Beam Loss Monitor detectors / Segui, L (IRFU, Saclay) ; Dolenc Kittelmann, I (ESS, Lund) ; Papaevangelou, T (IRFU, Saclay) ; Aune, S (IRFU, Saclay) ; Benedetti, F (IRFU, Saclay) ; Gougnaud, F (IRFU, Saclay) ; Lahonde, C (IRFU, Saclay) ; Legou, P (IRFU, Saclay) ; Mariette, Y (IRFU, Saclay) ; Marroncle, J (IRFU, Saclay) et al.
A new type of beam loss monitor has been developed based on the detection of fast neutrons produced by beam losses in hadron linear accelerators. This neutron sensitive Beam Loss Monitor (nBLM) has been concieved to fulfil the requirements of the European Spallation Source (ESS) and it will be part of the ESS neutron sensitive BLM system (ESS-nBLM). A novel MicroMegas detector based on microbulk technology with an embedded XY strip structure was developed, obtained by segmenting both the mesh and the anode in perpendicular directions. This results in a very low-mass device with good energy and spatial resolution capabilities. [...]

The ALICE Transition Radiation Detector: construction, operation, and performance / ALICE Collaboration
The Transition Radiation Detector (TRD) was designed and built to enhance the capabilities of the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). While aimed at providing electron identification and triggering, the TRD also contributes significantly to the track reconstruction and calibration in the central barrel of ALICE. [...]

Triangular flow of negative pions emitted in PbAu collisions at $\sqrt{S_{NN}} = 17.3$ GeV / for the CERES/NA45 collaboration
Differential triangular flow, $v_3(p_T)$, of negative pions is measured at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$= 17.3~GeV around midrapidity by the CERES/NA45 experiment at CERN in central PbAu collisions in the range 0-30\% with a mean centrality of 5.5\%. This is the first measurement of the triangular flow at SPS energies. [...]

Fast Timing for High-Rate Environments with Micromegas / Papaevangelou, Thomas (IRFU, Saclay) ; Desforge, Daniel (IRFU, Saclay) ; Ferrer-Ribas, Esther (IRFU, Saclay) ; Giomataris, Ioannis (IRFU, Saclay) ; Godinot, Cyprien (IRFU, Saclay) ; Gonzalez Diaz, Diego (CERN) ; Gustavsson, Thomas (LIDYL, Saclay) ; Kebbiri, Mariam (IRFU, Saclay) ; Oliveri, Eraldo (CERN) ; Resnati, Filippo (CERN) et al.
The current state of the art in fast timing resolution for existing experiments is of the order of 100 ps on the time of arrival of both charged particles and electromagnetic showers. Current R&D; on charged particle timing is approaching the level of 10 ps but is not primarily directed at sustained performance at high rates and under high radiation (as would be needed for HL-LHC pileup mitigation). Differential elliptic flow spectra v2(pT) of \pi-, K0short, p, \Lambda were measured at \sqrt(s NN)= 17.3 GeV around midrapidity by the CERN-CERES/NA45 experiment in mid-central Pb+Au collisions (10% of \sigma(geo)). The pT range extends from about 0.1 GeV/c (0.55 GeV/c for \Lambda ) to more than 2 GeV/c. [...]
