Inst. Atomic Phys.) ; Qi, C (Stockholm, Res. Inst. Atomic Phys.) ; Wyss, R A (Stockholm, Res. Inst. Atomic Phys.) ; Aktas, Ö (Stockholm, Res. Inst. Atomic Phys.) ; Ertoprak, A (Stockholm, Res. Inst. Excited states in the neutron-deficient nucleus $^{87}$Tc have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar, 2$n$1p) $^{87}$Tc at 115 MeV beam energy. The AGATA γ -ray spectrometer coupled to the DIAMANT, NEDA, and Neutron Wall detector arrays for light-particle detection was used to measure the prompt coincidence of $\gamma$ rays and light particles. Signatures of enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in $^{136}\mathrm{Nd}$ / Petrache, C M (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Minkov, N (Sofiya, Inst. Nucl. Res.) ; Nakatsukasa, T (Tsukuba U. ; Nishina Ctr., RIKEN) ; Lv, B F (CSNSM, Orsay ; Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Lanzhou U.) ; Astier, A (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Dupont, E (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Zheng, K K (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Greenlees, P (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Badran, H (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Calverley, T (Jyvaskyla U. ; Liverpool U.) et al.
Experimental signatures of moderately enhanced octupole correlations at high spin in $^{136}\mathrm{Nd}$ are indicated for the first time. The extracted dipole moments of two negative-parity bands are only two times smaller than those of the lanthanide nuclei with $N≈90$ which present well-established octupole correlations. [...]

A new anomaly observed in $^4$He supporting the existence of the hypothetical X17 particle / Krasznahorkay, A J (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Csatlós, M (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Csige, L (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Gulyás, J (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Koszta, M (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Szihalmi, B (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Timár, J (KLTE-ATOMKI) ; Firak, D S (Debrecen U.) ; Nagy, Á (Debrecen U.) ; Sas, N J (Debrecen U.) et al.
Recently, we observed an anomalous peak-like excess of internal $e^+e^-$ pairs at around 140° for the M1 transition depopulating the 18.15 MeV isoscalar $1^+$ state in $^8$Be. The deviation from the theoretical prediction can be described by GEANT simulations assuming the creation and subsequent decay of a new, light boson with a mass of 16.7 MeV/$c^2$. [...]

Evidence against the wobbling nature of low-spin bands in $^{135}$Pr / Lv, B.F. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Petrache, C.M. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Lawrie, E.A. (iThemba LABS ; Western Cape U.) ; Guo, S. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Astier, A. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Dupont, E. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Zheng, K.K. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS ; IJCLab, Orsay) ; Ong, H.J. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Wang, J.G. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) ; Zhou, X.H. (Lanzhou, Inst. Modern Phys. ; Beijing, GUCAS) et al.
The electromagnetic character of the $\Delta I=1$ transitions connecting the one- to zero-phonon and the two- to one-phonon wobbling bands should be dominated by an $E2$ component, due to the collective motion of the entire nuclear charge. In the present work it is shown, based on combined angular correlation and linear polarization measurements, that the mixing ratios of all analyzed connecting transitions between low-lying bands in $^{135}$Pr interpreted as zero-, one-, and two-phonon wobbling bands, have absolute values smaller than one. The low-lying excited states in the neutron-deficient $N=Z+1$ nucleus $^{87}_{43}$Tc$^{\ }_{44}$ have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar, $2n1p$)$^{87}$Tc at the Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL), France. The AGATA spectrometer was used in conjunction with the auxiliary NEDA, Neutron Wall, and DIAMANT detector arrays to measure coincident prompt $\gamma$-rays, neutrons, and charged particles emitted in the reaction. Two new bands have been identified in $^{137}$Nd from a high-statistics JUROGAM II gamma-ray spectroscopy experiment. Constrained density functional theory and particle rotor model calculations are used to assign configurations and investigate the band properties, which are well described and understood. [...]

In a 2016 paper, an anomaly in the internal pair creation on the $M1$ transition depopulating the 18.15 MeV isoscalar 1$^+$ state on $^8$Be was observed. This could be explained by the creation and subsequent decay of a new boson, with mass $m_Xc^2$ = 16.70 MeV. [...]

The low-lying energy spectrum of the extremely neutron-deficient self-conjugate ($N$=Z) nuclide $^{88}_{44}$Ru$_{44}$ has been measured using the combination of the Advanced Gamma Tracking Array (AGATA) spectrometer, the NEDA and Neutron Wall neutron detector arrays, and the DIAMANT charged particle detector array. Excited states in $^{88}$Ru were populated via the $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar,2n$γ$)$^{88}$Ru* fusion-evaporation reaction at the Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds (GANIL) accelerator complex. [...]
