: Conceptual Design Report
/ Alesini, D (Frascati) ; Anania, M P (Frascati) ; Artioli, M (ENEA, Bologna) ; Bacci, A (INFN, Milan) ; Bartocci, S (Sassari U.) ; Bedogni, R (Frascati) ; Bellaveglia, M (Frascati) ; Biagioni, A (Frascati) ; Bisesto, F (Frascati) ; Brandi, F (CNR, INO, Pisa) et al.
It is widely accepted by the international scientific community that a fundamental milestone towards the realization of a plasma driven future Linear Collider (LC) will be the integration of high gradient accelerating plasma modules in a short wavelength Free Electron Laser (FEL) user facility. RF Design of the X-band Linac for the EuPRAXIA@SPARC_LAB Project
/ Diomede, Marco (Rome U. ; Frascati) ; Alesini, David (Frascati) ; Bellaveglia, Marco (Frascati) ; Buonomo, Bruno (Frascati) ; Cardelli, Fabio (Frascati) ; Chiadroni, Enrica (Frascati) ; Di Raddo, Gianluca (Frascati) ; Di Raddo, Roberto (Frascati) ; Ferrario, Massimo (Frascati) ; Gallo, Alessandro (Frascati) et al.
We illustrate the RF design of the X-band linac for the upgrade of the SPARC_LAB facility at INFN-LNF (EuPRAXIA@SPARC_LAB). The structures are travelling wave (TW) cavities, working on the 2π/3 mode, fed by klystrons with pulse compressor systems. [...]

EuPRAXIA@SPARC_LAB Design study towards a compact FEL facility at LNF
/ Ferrario, M. (Frascati) ; Alesini, D. (Frascati) ; Anania, M.P. (Frascati) ; Artioli, M. (ENEA, Bologna) ; Bacci, A. (INFN, Milan) ; Bartocci, S. (Sassari U.) ; Bedogni, R. (Frascati) ; Bellaveglia, M. (Frascati) ; Biagioni, A. (Frascati) ; Bisesto, F. (Frascati) et al.
On the wake of the results obtained so far at the SPARC\_LAB test-facility at the Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati (Italy), we are currently investigating the possibility to design and build a new multi-disciplinary user-facility, equipped with a soft X-ray Free Electron Laser (FEL) driven by a $\sim$1 GeV high brightness linac based on plasma accelerator modules. This design study is performed in synergy with the EuPRAXIA design study. [...]

High power test results of the SPARC C-band accelerating structures
/ Alesini, D. (Frascati) ; Bellaveglia, M. (Frascati) ; Biagini, M.E. (Frascati) ; Boni, R. (Frascati) ; Chimenti, P. (Frascati) ; Clementi, R. (Frascati) ; Di Pirro, G. (Frascati) ; Di Raddo, R. (Frascati) ; Ferrario, M. (v) ; Gallo, A. (Frascati) et al.
The energy upgrade of the SPARC photo-injector at
LNF-INFN (Italy) from 180 to more than 240 MeV will
be carried out by replacing a low gradient S-Band
accelerating structure with two C-band structures. The
structures are Traveling Wave (TW) and Constant
Impedance (CI), with symmetric axial input couplers and
have been optimized to work with a SLED RF input
pulse. [...]

The energy upgrade of the SPARC photo-injector from 160 to more than 260 MeV will be done by replacing a low gradient 3m S-Band structure with two 1.4m high gradient C-band structures. The structures are travelling wave, constant impedance sections, have symmetric waveguide input couplers and have been optimized to work with a SLED RF input pulse. [...]
