LINAC4 Laser Profile and Emittance Meter Commissioning
/ Goldblatt, Aurélie (CERN) ; Andreassen, Odd (CERN) ; Boorman, Gary (JAI, UK) ; Bosco, Alessio (JAI, UK) ; Gibson, Stephen (JAI, UK) ; Hofmann, Thomas (Unlisted, CH) ; Roncarolo, Federico (CERN) ; Tagg, Joseph (CERN)
The CERN LINAC4 is now equipped with two laser profile and emittance meters, a basically non destructive measurement of the transverse beam profile, not limited by the beam power density. The light of a pulsed laser is trans- ported through optical fibers and focused into the 160 MeV/c $H^{-}$ beam. [...]

Analog IP blocks in 28 nm CMOS for the high energy physics community: SLVS transmitter and receiver
/ Bandi, F (CERN) ; Ballabriga, R (CERN) ; Borghello, G (CERN) ; Campbell, M (CERN) ; Caratelli, A (CERN) ; Ceresa, D (CERN) ; Hofmann, T (CERN) ; Kaplon, J (CERN) ; Kloukinas, K (CERN) ; Michelis, S (CERN) et al.
A Scalable Low Voltage Signaling (SLVS) transmitter and receiver have been developed as IP blocks in a 28 nm standard CMOS technology for the future upgrades for the high luminosity LHC. At the target data rate of 1.28 Gbps, the transmitter consumes 6 mW and the receiver consumes 2 mW. [...]

As a possible candidate for extremely radiation tolerant tracking devices we present a novel detector design - namely 3D detectors - based on poly-crystalline CVD diamond sensors with a pixel readout. The fabrication of recent 3D detectors as well their results in recent beam tests are presented. [...]
