The ALICE analysis framework for LHC Run 3 / Berzano, Dario (CERN ; INFN, Italy) ; Deckers, Roel (CERN) ; Grigoras, Costin (CERN) ; Floris, Michele (CERN) ; Hristov, Peter (CERN) ; Krzewicki, Mikolaj (CERN ; Frankfurt U., FIAS ; Goethe U., Frankfurt (main)) ; Zimmermann, Markus (CERN)
The ALICE experiment at the LHC (CERN) is currently developing a new software framework designed for Run 3: detector and software will have to cope with Pb–Pb collision rates 100 times higher than today, leading to the combination of core Online-Offline operations into a single framework called O$^2$. The analysis code is expected to run on a few large Analysis Facilities counting 20k cores and sustainin ga 100 GB/s throughput: this requires a conjoint effort between the definition of the data format, the configuration of the Analysis Facilities and the development of the Analysis Framework. Multiplicity dependence of (multi-)strange hadron production in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production rates and the transverse momentum distribution of strange hadrons at mid-rapidity ($\left|y\right| < 0.5$) are measured in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV as a function of the charged particle multiplicity, using the ALICE detector at the LHC. It is found that the production rates of $\rm{K}^{0}_{S}$, $\Lambda$, $\Xi$, and $\Omega$ increase with the multiplicity faster than what is reported for inclusive charged particles. [...]

Multiplicity dependence of (anti-)deuteron production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
In this letter, the production of deuterons and anti-deuterons in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV is studied as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity density at mid-rapidity with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Production yields are measured at mid-rapidity in five multiplicity classes and as a function of the deuteron transverse momentum ($p_{\rm{T}}$). [...]

High Multiplicity Collisions / Floris, Michele (CERN ; U. Derby) ; Li, Wei (Rice U.)
This chapter summarizes measurements of (identified) hadrons spectra and correlations in high-multiplicity pp events at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). A particular emphasis is put on the similarities with corresponding results from heavy-ion collisions and on the implications for the understanding of hadronic interactions at high energy..

Real-time data processing in the ALICE High Level Trigger at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
At the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, atomic nuclei are collided at ultra-relativistic energies. Many final-state particles are produced in each collision and their properties are measured by the ALICE detector. [...]

Event-shape and multiplicity dependence of freeze-out radii in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Two-particle correlations in high-energy collision experiments enable the extraction of particle source radii by using the Bose-Einstein enhancement of pion production at low relative momentum $q\propto 1/R$. It was previously observed that in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV the average pair transverse momentum $k_{\rm{T}}$ range of such analyses is limited due to large background correlations which were attributed to mini-jet phenomena. [...]

Study of J/$\psi$ azimuthal anisotropy at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The second ($v_2$) and third ($v_3$) flow harmonic coefficients of J/$\psi$ mesons are measured at forward rapidity (2.5 $<$ $y$ $<$ 4.0) in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Results are obtained with the scalar product method and reported as a function of transverse momentum, $p_{\rm{T}}$, for various collision centralities. [...]

Charged-particle pseudorapidity density at mid-rapidity in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 8.16 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The pseudorapidity density of charged particles, $\rm{d}\it{N}_\rm{ch}/\rm{d}\it{\eta}$, in p-Pb collisions has been measured at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 8.16 TeV at mid-pseudorapidity for non-single-diffractive events. The results cover 3.6 units of pseudorapidity, $|\eta|<1.8$. [...]

Jet fragmentation transverse momentum measurements from di-hadron correlations in $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV pp and $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV p-Pb collisions / ALICE Collaboration
The transverse structure of jets was studied via jet fragmentation transverse momentum ($j_{\rm{T}}$) distributions, obtained using two-particle correlations in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions, measured with the ALICE experiment at the LHC. The highest transverse momentum particle in each event is used as the trigger particle and the region $3 < p_{\rm{Tt}} < 15$ GeV/$c$ is explored in this study. [...]

$\Lambda_{\rm c}^{+}$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
A measurement of the production of prompt $\Lambda_{\rm c}^{+}$ baryons in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02 $ TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC is reported. The $\Lambda_{\rm c}^{+}$ and $\overline{\Lambda}_{\rm c}^{-}$ were reconstructed at midrapidity ($|y| < 0.5$) via the hadronic decay channel $\Lambda_{\rm c}^{+}\rightarrow {\rm p} {\rm K}_{\rm S}^{0}$ (and charge conjugate) in the transverse momentum and centrality intervals $6 < p_{\rm T} <12$ GeV/$c$ and 0-80%.
