and sizes as well as styles and colors to consider. You also have to consider who you are buying the electric track for, your 7 year old son or your 15 year old son, this could make a difference in which model you are looking for. There are 2 main types of race tracks you can find on the market today. 4 car tracks and 2 car tracks. I will explain some of the pros and cons of each one and you can decide which one would be best for your situation.

The 2 car, race sets are great for the younger crowd between the ages of 7 and 10. These kind of racing sets are usually not to complicated with twists and turns. With any racing game like this, the cars are going to go flying off the tracks and go smashing into the floor or come to a halt up against the wall. after enough wall hits its possible to lose good working order of your car. Because the 2 car race track is generally rated a low track difficulty there tend to be less cars leaving the track.

Now don't get me wrong the double race car sets can be fast and tricky just like the 4 car sets but the quadruple tracks are all fast and tricky. Where as the double track can be both levels of beginner and intermediate.

The 2 car electric race car track is also for the person on a budget. These tracks can start as low as 20 or 25 bucks and go all the way up to a couple hundred dollars. The more difficult and advanced 4 car sets can run you any where from 200 to 400 dollars, all depends how serious you are about your electric car hobby.
