Happy Veteran's Day

Today, we thought we would post a few posters from WWII as a way of paying tribute to all of our veterans.
We also want to thank our Papa who served in the Air Force for 26 years. He was a Flight Simulator Technician. All pilots have to use a flight simulator to practice situations where it is unsafe to do it in a real plane - such as landing in bad weather, or having an engine go out. Our Papa made sure that the pilots had working flight simulators to practice in so that they would be safer if they were ever faced with one of those situations in real life. He may not have been in a combat situation, but he made sure that the pilots were able to be well trained before they got there. Thank you to all our veterans, whether they were in combat or not.

Veteran's Day/Rememberance Day

I'm a little sad thinking about all of the soldiers that have given their lives to help protect us, but also grateful. The Mom-Lady-Person said that sometimes in the excitement of having a day off of work, some people forget what this day is really about. We will be taking a moment to remember today.

Our Canadian friends also observe Rememberance Day today. They also honor their soldiers. In honor of them:
