Whimsy Stamps New Release expected Friday and it's Paaaartay Time!...

  Hello friends,

It's Sue here today to show you some lovely goodies from the latest mini release from Whimsy Stamps which is available in store for pre-order now!  (Order is due on Friday)!
I created the inky background with some new inks I treated myself too from our lovely Dies To Die For - Pink Fresh Starry Night Ink Pad Set.  I LOVE them!

Slimline Big Boo Boo - Whimsy Stamps

Happy Thursday friends!

I'm back today with a second card made with the fabulous

This is a bit different to the cards I usually make but variety is the spice of life - eh?  (;

Only one little tip here - if you are doing a white on white design make sure you use all the same brand of card for the white bits - you would not believe how many versions of white there are!

Big and Bold Winter Wishes Snowflake - Colorado Craft Company

Hello everyone,

I hope this week is being kind to you!

It's Sue here today to show you some Christmas cards (because I am never done with Christmas)!
I absolutely loved making these.  The layout was inspired by Colorado Craft Company DT (BIG thanks to them for being amazing) - but for my cards, I created my own backgrounds and used some odd bits of old design paper.
My favourite of this set was heat embossed in silver onto a background I created by using a brayer to add Stoneblue Catherine Pooler Ink onto card.  I then lightly splashed the card with white acrylic paint.

I finished the card by adding a white heat embossed sentiment on black card and some clear droplets.  (I cut little banners myself)
These two are stamped onto a rather ancient piece of design paper - I knew I kept it for a reason! 
...and to mix it up a bit I stamped this one onto another senior piece of design paper and heat embossed it in glittery gold embossing powder, finally adding some gorgeous gold droplets.

Bunny Winter Holiday - Whimsy Stamps

 Hello everyone,

Sue here today!

Is n't the month flying away!  I swear time is speeding up - or perhaps I'm just getting old! /-:

Today's cards are a couple of cute one layer makes made with Whimsy Stamps
I stamped and then masked the bunny images and then applied a circular aperture mask before blending Distress Oxide Ink over my card.

I then removed the masks and coloured the Christmas Bunnies with Copics.

I stamped the Merry Christmas Sentiments in grey ink.

I then trimmed the card so that the circle was over to one corner of the design.  The finished cards measure about 8cm x 8cm so they are fairly small but VERY cute!

Bethlehem's Light - Colorado Craft Company

 Hello friends,

Today's card is made with a beautiful image I have been wanting to colour for aaaaages!
I decided to stick to a simple one layer card and let the gorgeous image speak for itself!

Champagne Slimline Papers - Whimsy Stamps

Hello friends...

Sue here today to show you couple of cards made with a gorgeous new slimline paper pack.
 by Whimsy Stamps which is in store now!
I randomly stamped and heat embossed some snowflakes from the 
Whimsy Stamps Snow Flurries Clear Stamps Set
over a piece of the gorgeous design paper.

I then trimmed the paper slightly and layered it onto a piece of glitter card and then a piece of white card.

I then stamped in grey a sentiment from my current favourite set - 
Merry Christmas Clear Stamps

...and finished the card off by adding some bling to the snowflake centres and rounding the bottom corners of the card.

Just in case it's helpful - the finished card measures 20cm x 10.5cm.

These cards were so straightforward to create and I'm really happy with how they look.

They are another ideal card to make if you need several and are a bit short on time!

SurReally Cool Christmas Papers - Whimsy Stamps

These came together really quickly and I could have made a lot more!  The paper pack is so beautiful and I thought the simple effect of adding the Believe die cut and a sentiment made the perfect and stylish card! (Not like me at all)  :)

Whimsy Stamps - Penguin Winter Clear Stamps

 Hello everyone,

It's Sue here today!

I had the best time making todays card!  
It has all my favourite things!
...penguins, copics, inkiness, winter, snow and it's a Christmas card which are all my favourites!
I made the background by brayering Distress Oxide onto a piece of card.

The penguins are coloured with Copics (list of colours at the end of the post)

I layered the images onto vellum and fixed them to the background, finishing off with a sentiment.

such fun!...
I had a couple images left so I made some gift tags!
