Mini Layout and 80's Style Card

Hey there friends, its officially Tuesday pretty sure I am ready for Friday! ha
I will point out my mistake here...
I have a mini layout to share today, I love making 6X6 mini pages.
I used the newest Avocado Arts stamp set paired with Clear Scraps Mascils.
I used Modeling paste then glitter, but I waited too long for the glitter, next time
I will do it right away, but I forgot where I put the blue glitter LOL
For the card I was going for a Miami Vice/80's vibe so I used black ink
then a bright embossing powder.
Just had some fun with it all. :)
Happy Tuesday friends!

Down By The Sea Sailboat Album!

Hey there, I can't believe it's already Thursday.
I thought I would share this cool CLEAR Sailboat Album I made.
I left it clear  but used Krylon spray paint on the cover with
Clear Scraps stencils.
Of course the album is Clear Scraps as well, I love the shaped albums.
The textured water is Gesso and Mica Powder.

Such a fun piece.
You can grab the album here

I Think I Have A Spray Paint Problem....

I just went back to WalMart yesterday because I ran out of my 3rd can of
Krylon Metallic Gold Spray Paint...I think I have issues. LOL

I love the gritty graffiti feel of spray painting my projects, and using
Mascils or Stencils with them, what can I say?
For this Clear Scraps Word Frame I used the Love You Frame, Drangonfly Mascil,
and Metallic Gold + Krylon Turquoise spray paint, trust me my hands are covered and so
are my leather cuff bracelets LOL Oh and in the letters I used Kaiser Craft papers.
I don't know honestly it was just art therapy for me, it's been a rough week!
Happy Tuesday friends and GOODBYE (EFF YOU) 2014! hahahaha

Handmade Gift Ideas

It's definitely that time of year, everyone gets busy and shops.
I love giving handmade gifts but finding the right handmade gift that will
be appreciated is not always easy.

Sometimes it is nice to go simple and sweet. This gift was for my friends
little boy, I thought as he learned his letters and names that he would
enjoy a book that has his family names with photos.
I made sure to use very strong adhesive and double checked every corner.
You know Clear Scraps albums are not flimsy in any way so I knew with care
it would stand up to a 2 yr olds shenanigans.
For this book I used the Clear Scraps Cassy Mixable Album.
Sturdy and easy to flip the pages.
I used big bold letters and DCVW papers.
I also used the Clear Scraps Mascils, with Gold Krylon spray paint.
I love these mascils.
I included the family dog of course.
Hopefully it's a keepsake he can use years from now.
Stay tuned this week for a sewing tutorial. Or maybe it's a what not to do tutorial?? LOL
Anyways happy Monday and Merry Christmas friends.

Spiderwebs, Krylon, And Clear Scraps!

Hello Monday! You dirty day...LOL
Just going back to school from fall break and momma's tired...

Can you tell lately I am obsessed with spray painting acrylic? Well I totally am!
Creating that digital layout last week completely inspired me to create
a real one using Clear Scraps XL Dazed Acrylic shape, Clear Scraps Spiderwebs
Mascil and Krylon spray paint.
I also used a Samantha Walker Cut File for the title.
It felt good to create a page- I was feeling my crafty roots!
I have another Halloween project coming up tomorrow...so stay tuned.

NEW CHA Products + After Christmas Scrapbooking

Good morning friends, I hope you had a wonderful
Christmas time with your friends or family.

We spent this year just our little family having a quiet day watching movies
and opening gifts….at 3:30 AM! LOL I never could deny my children
no matter how early they wake up. I mean it's Christmas!!! :) It's fun.

Anyways I wanted you to check out one of my CHA projects-
Using the BRAND NEW CLEAR SCRAPS release!
I used a Clear Scraps acrylic sheet and gold spray paint with this
Spiral Dot 12X12 Mascil design to create this layout of my sweet boy.
Pretty cool design right? REALLY versatile!

I used some mixed media Gauche Alchemy goodness to create the layout.
And really just had fun with it all.
I don't make layouts often anymore but I so enjoyed this! Cannot wait
to make more throughout the year.
I also went old school and spray painted some grungeboard designs by
good old Tim Holtz~ LOL
Anyways back to reality today- Have some CHA projects to mail and
a couple of deadline projects to meet! Have a wonderful Thursday friends! MUAH!

Clear Scraps And Lindy's Stamp Gang Project!

Hey there crafty peeps,

I have another project to share this week and this time I used
Starburst. They are running a blog promo all week and this is my creation!
Now they say to mix the Starburst Ponderosa Pines Olive
with water or "whatever" and let them
know what happens, well I mixed mine with alcohol thinking it might work
with the acrylic, but it didn't. LOL SOOOO I used it on the paper instead.
I used the Doily Mascil from Clear Scraps on SEI Noel papers and
created a fun lace doily pattern. I do like the color difference in the Starburst.
Then I created the rest of the album using SEI Noel papers,
OH and let's not forget the GOLD WASHI TAPE from SEI- love this!
I love creating with the Clear Scraps acrylic albums.
I used the inside pages for this album.
There is a cover if I decide to use it. But I love this one as it is.
Here I folded the ribbon in half before creating the bow.
