Product Description

Kobe Bryant talked about the profound impact Bruce Lee had on him early and often throughout his NBA career. It's why it wasn't a surprise to see the Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Bruce Lee surface when Nike released a low-top version of Kobe's ninth signature shoe in 2014.

This Kobe 9 sneaker featured an engineered mesh upper that was done up in a gorgeous gold color. It also had small hits of red on the tongue, eyelets, and midsole. The rest of the shoe, including the Swooshes, outsole, and heel, were covered in black to complete the look.

The simple fact that Nike and Kobe went through with creating a Bruce Lee-inspired Kobe 9 in the first place was the coolest part about this sneaker to us. It no doubt helped introduce lots of Kobe fans to Bruce Lee and his incredible body of work. The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Bruce Lee was released on March 29th, 2014, when it retailed for $160.
