Today’s Objective(s):
I will be able to apply my knowledge of expressions, inequalities, factoring, and the distributive property So that I can create equivalent expressions using the distributive property, and review my knowledge of evaluating expressions and graphing inequalities I will know I got it when I can accurately complete each station independently or with my partners with at least 80% accuracy. 6.EE. 2-8

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the 4 language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing. They will be able to listen to the reteach of the distributive property, verbally discuss with their partners how to create equivalent expressions and write the solutions on their recording sheet. Students will show they understand when they can accurately complete each station with their partners with at least 80% accuracy. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: model, variable, factored form, expanded form, one step equation, expression, factoring, distributing, equation, inequality, graph.

Center Work: Students are to:
Read over the directions and problem(s) at each station. With your group, you will answer the problem(s) When the teacher tells you to, you will move to the next station and follow the directions. You will only have 14 minutes at each station. Matching Activity Matching Activity Algebra Links Algebra Links Distributive Property Distributive Property
