    Strings Edit

    Strings Edit

String editing and formatting library for Ada

Strings edit is a library that provides I/O facilities for integers, floating-point numbers, Roman numerals, and strings. Both input and output subroutines support string pointers for consequent stream processing. The output can be aligned in a fixed size field with padding. Numeric input can be checked against expected values range to be either saturated or to raise an exception. For floating-point output either relative or absolute output precision can be specified. UTF-8 encoded strings are supported, including wildcard pattern matching, sets and maps of code points, upper/lowercase, and other Unicode categorizations.

    RufaSwap

    RufaSwap

Permuted picture puzzle, allows using your own PNG pictures.

RufaSwap, is a simple permuted picture puzzle where the challenge is to restore the picture elements to their proper order. Two elements are selected with cursor clicks to initiate a swap. User controls the level of difficulty. The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename". Works on Macs running OS-X, PCs running GNU/Linux, and PCs running Windows. RufasSlider

    RufasSlider

    Klotsky class block slider puzzles.

RufaSlider is a collection of 16 different block slider puzzles for kids and casual puzzlers that works on laptops and PCs running Windows, OSX or GNU/Linux. It includes a Klotski-style family, a DirtyDozen family, and a Traffic-Rush family. And now these puzzle families come with AutoSolvers to help you. The Klotski family uses rectangles of 4 sizes: 1x1, 2x2, 1x2, 2x1. The objective in each game is stated near the window top, but usually involves moving a large block to a specified location within the window. The DirtyDozen family is similar except there are L-shaped puzzle pieces. The Traffic-Rush family uses data, with 2x1, 1x2, 3x1, 1x3 rectangles. Here, the long rectangles represent cars or trucks that can only move [roll] lengthwise...the goal being to move the red car toward the shaded "exit door". The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename".

    ULID-Ada

    ULID-Ada

    Implementation of ULID in Ada

A ULID code (Universally Unique Lexicographically Sortable Identifier) is a combination of a 48-bit time stamp (most significant part, with a millisecond accuracy), and a 80-bit random number (least significant part), totalling 128 bits, that is 16 bytes (octets). The package ULID provides two functions Generate. One function produces a 128-bit number that can be output (for instance) in the UUID format. One function produces a string in the Base32 format (Crockford variant) - the preferred (canonical) representation of a ULID. Additionally, the Generate_Monotonic function enables the production of a monotonically increasing sequence of ULID numbers within the same millisecond. MATTA

    MATTA

Morse Code Utilitiies to convert text messages to & from sound files.

This is a commandline utility that converts a WAV sound file containing morse code to English text. Pre-built binaries run on OSX, MsWindows, & GNU/linux. It is written in Ada, so can be rebuilt on any platform with an Ada compiler. The input wav file must be monaural, with a 16-bit signed integer encoding, and a sample rate of 8000 Hz. Either sox or audacity can easily transform to this format. The wav file is expected to be international morse code, preferrably clean and properly spaced. Tonal frequency or wpm-speed does not seem to matter. Now includes an inverse commandline app, txt2wav that creates a morse code WAV file from English text. The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename".

    Ada Lapack

A partial port of Lapack to Ada 2012

These files provide a native Ada implementation of some parts of Lapack. The codes provided here are a direct translation (using f2a.pl from Oliver Kellogg) of the Fortran source to Ada. The code is written in the form of a generic package and covers the Lapack routines for - Matrix determinant and inverse on general matrices, - Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of general, real and hermitian symmetric matrices, - Solutions of systems of equations for general, real and hermitian symmetric coefficient matrices, - Singular value decomposition for general matrices Also included is a set of functions (and two procedures) that provide a more familiar Ada style interface to the Lapack routines. See also AdaLAPACK (https://sourceforge.net/projects/adalapack/), a binding to the Fortran LAPACK.

    AdaGate

    AdaGate

3D OpenGL dungeon game using Ada: a tribute to Narbacular Drop

AdaGate is a kid-friendly 3D sokoban puzzle game within a Stargate / Portal fantasy setting. It is a great example of modern OpenGL programming using the Ada programming language. It runs on Windows, OSX, or Linux. While searching a remote south-seas atoll for remnants of a lost American heroine, a stargate kawoosh lures you into 4 strange dungeons. Escape will require the logical rearrangement of weird power cells [ZPMs] that roll in only two directions. Shoot your portal guns at the dungeon walls to configure 2 escape portals, but in order to activate them, all of the ZPMs must be bumped onto their sockets. But beware: you can only PUSH the ZPMs, so you will fail if you roll one into a corner or against a wall. But don't worry, cheating is pretty easy ; ) The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename".
