I figured that since little kids can handle a game controller, so can yinglet hands, mostly. So Vayryn's had some issue, but not insurmountable ones, with hers. But she also plays mostly retro games, so hasn't needed anything but "d+pad and face buttons" for the most part. (Shoulder buttons are a pain to reach!)
She also types with her clawtips, which was a LOT to get used to and still feels pretty weird, but it's been months, so she's got a decent handle on it.
No yinglet hangouts for her, though. Not yet, anyway... She's (for now) the only (known) yinglet in the world, after all!
...HOW DID I NOT THINK ABOUT THE N64 CONTROLLER!? That one hit me like a brick, I broke out laughing at that. (Also, I'm guessing left foot on dpad, left hand on center stick, right foot on buttons, right hand for shrimps? It's hard to tell with yinglets. ^_^;; )

Spot-on on the N64 hand layout!
Realistically, the best modern controller for yinglets is probably one of those 8BitDo SNES pads with the analog sticks added in. But I'm a special case, I love racing games and require analog triggers -- so it might just be the original GameCube pad with an adapter -v-;
