My first artwork of "Legoshi" was nice but it was a 100% adaptation of the ANIME.
After reading the MANGA a few times and getting more and more into that character I've decided to try my very own style on him and... being more true to the design of the MANGA.
AND HERE he is: "Legoshi" in my own traditional style!
This is my very own wolf design.
This is how he would look like if he ever met "Reptile" for example.
It seems to be a good balance between the ANIME, the MANGA and my own drawings - and I like it very much!
Also, he is happy this time!

Well the shoes in their world are designed for their sharp toenails, so they do wear them, but they also have sandal options, to ensure they don't have to worry about ripping their socks. They also use nail clippers like we do to avoid that scenario, so it really comes down to things like dress code for school and work. ; )
Yeah, the shoes are dress code, I know... after all you can see them wearing socks - which would suck with long claws!!!! XD
But in their free time the kids usually have no shoes... so that's cool.
AND we might not forget the fact that I've drawn Legoshi's feet for two reasons:
1. He's in his free time and sitting on the warm grass... I suppose he would just love the feeling of the grass touching his feet. I think he loves nature that much that he could sit there for hours. ^^
2. I know that many people will appreciate it...

But in their free time the kids usually have no shoes... so that's cool.
AND we might not forget the fact that I've drawn Legoshi's feet for two reasons:

I did some mild research myself and figured it must've been an important fight... but we don't wanna spoil it for other people, either.

Also, I've learned that he is supposed to gain some scars and small changes in his appearance over time... but I like him the way he is HERE!

Most people know the reason from reading the fan translation out there, though the translation work is just awful in places and it reads way too stiffly. I would recommend not reading it and wait for the official release by Viz. That, or the second season of the anime, which will likely cover it. ; )

Juno is not very interesting to me... and I personally dislike Louis (though he's a great character with a huge background).
If I do a new BEASTARS artwork... it would most likely show Legoshi, Louis and Haru - the three main characters.
Or I would do something like... Legoshi, Jack and Haru... the three close friends.

I'm not certain yet... because there is a new REPTILE artwork in progress which has more priority, hehehehehe!
For now I've done my part on Legoshi... that was my favourite character and I'm happy that people like how I've drawn him. Also, I'm happy with the drawing myself so everything is fine for now.

Well, I know that you'll find lots of artworks around here... but I doubt that you'd like most of them. I'm not specifically into this... but I have some friends who enjoy the "clean and tasteful" depiction of feet. That is also a reason why I didn't give him shoes. Like I said, it's not MY thing... but it's not a bad thing, either. Also, why should he wear anything on the grass in his free time, after all????
