Signs you need to clarify your curly hair
Before diffusing, I've already applied and styled my hair with a leave-in conditioner WITH HEAT PROTECTANT - super important to protect your hair from using heat. Next, gel and mousse are applied. All products are applied on clean & wet hair. Then mico plop to remove excess water & you can diffuse or air dry! I prefer to diffuse for best results. #wavyhair #curlyhair #naturalhair #hairroutine #diffusing

Do you have shorter hairs throughout that lead to frizz? #livingproofpartner This is a sign of breakage, especially if you notice straighter ends compared to the rest of your curls. Regular heat styling, bleach, detangling, and even styling with a brush can lead to damage. I love diffusing and brush styling, but I can still maintain healthy curls overall if I work in regular bond treatments and strengthening products. Most bond treatments require several extra steps in your routine because you have to wash them out, which is why I was interested in trying the Living Proof Triple Bond Complex because it's a leave-in treatment. I love how Living Proof always shares its science-based research, which shows: ✨Hair was 8x stronger ✨Rebuilds all 3 types of bonds in the hair: hydrogen, io

Have you had this happen to you? If your curls are feeling stretched out, dry, and not cooperating, it's likely time for a reset. If you currently have damaged hair and are looking to transition to wearing it natural, this is the perfect kickstart routine and you'll need to be consistent with it and get frequent trims. ➡️ STEPS: 1. Use a chelating shampoo to remove hard water minerals and product buildup 2. Deep condition to restore moisture and detangle. Rinse after 10 minutes. 3. Apply a leave-in or curl cream. Mix in bond-repairing drops to help to repaid broken bonds, strengthen, and restore your natural curl pattern. 4. Use a strong hold gel to lock in your curls and prevent frizz. 5. Brush style to enhance curls. Skip if you have fragile hair. (optional) 6. Diffuse to set

Which of these are you doing? ⤵️ Stringiness could be from one of these mistakes. There is no right or “wrong” way to style your curls. These are simply alternative styling techniques that you can try to see if it helps. Stringiness is also not bad if you naturally have smaller curl clumps. Here, I’m referring to dry, stringy frizz. 1️⃣ Not using enough water when applying your products Mist water is you go when styling. You want it to be evenly wet but not soaked. 2️⃣ Applying too much product Try using less product and emulsify it in your palms as you go. 3️⃣ Not using any styling techniques Try using a brush to apply slight pressure which will clump the curls. And you can do this method quickly. 4️⃣ Air drying and not diffusing Try diffusing to set your curls shape, help sp
