A series of watercolors, inspired by the delicate and initially insignificant small keepsakes (a post card, or plane ticket, or leaf or feather) that unexpectedly anchors you to a pivotal moment in time. The journal entries and artifacts of our memories that we ultimately treasure forever. THESE PIECES ARE AN INTRICATE HARMONY OF WATERCOLOR, FLUID ACRYLIC, PIGMENT AND 24 KARAT GOLD LEAF.

I’ve had this vision in my head to use watercolors on canvas. It took a bit of experimenting with acrylics and mediums to achieve the perfect watercolor consistency that was workable and archival.
