We present a mobile and context-aware system, called PhotoMap that provides semi-
automatic annotation about the spatial, temporal and social contexts of a photo.(ie, where,
when, who and what was nearby). The PhotoMap application captures the photo shot
context when a user takes a picture with her camera phone. The mobile client gets the
geographic position of the device, date and time information, bluetooth addresses of the
