Quilters love using rainbow colors because they create beautiful quilts with a mix of vibrant shades. Rainbow quilt patterns are actually a great place to start if you are wanting to explore color. You have the color wheel as your guide so really, picking colors can be pretty easy.

This is just a quick blog post which details the pattern for my recent Rainbow Scrappy Quilt. My concept of a spectrum is a little looser than other people's, but this worked for me. You will need 520 2½" squares. One advantage of writing jelly roll patterns is that these patterns lend themselves very nicely to scrap quilts.
