Proposed benefits include: outbreak tracing, verifying ingredient origins, monitoring environmental compliance and automating payments. Blockchain-enabled food supply chains have not been widely studied in developing countries. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation of blockchain-enabled traceability in food supply chains was conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the potential impacts on food supply chain sustainability. A case study of a pork supply chain in Vietnam was analysed to understand the context in a developing country. The analysis was conducted through the lens of a triple-bottom-line blockchain framework for supply chains.

In recent years, big data analytics has become widely applied in cybersecurity, leading to the no... more In recent years, big data analytics has become widely applied in cybersecurity, leading to the novel approach of big data cybersecurity analytics. While some organizations have been adopting this new approach in tackling cybercrime, there are limited guidelines to which companies can refer. Therefore, the renowned maturity model concept, which offers a systematic approach for an organization to measure and improve its maturity level, is applied in this study. On the basis of a comprehensive literature review, this chapter proposes a maturity framework for big data cybersecurity analytics. This synthesized comprehensive maturity framework comprises seven dimensions across five stage levels-namely organization, human, infrastructure, data management, analytics application, governance, and security dimensions. Knowing which dimensions need to be improved and which pathway to follow ensures the successful implementation of big data cybersecurity analytics within organizations.

Although supply chain collaboration has received considerable research attention in the last few ... more Although supply chain collaboration has received considerable research attention in the last few years, relatively few companies have achieved genuine collaboration with their supply chain partners to obtain the desired performance outcomes due to various influencing factors (Maskey et al., 2020; Tran et al., 2023). Among the explored antecedents of this practice, organisational culture has emerged as a controversial factor, with notable inconsistency persisting in previous studies regarding the relationship between organisational culture and supply chain collaboration (Porter, 2019; Taha et al., 2022). Furthermore, prior research has primarily focused on the direct relationship between organisational culture and firm performance (Pinho et al., 2014), overlooking the potential mediating role of supply chain collaboration in enhancing competitive advantage. This paper aims to address these gaps by investigating the mediating role of supply chain collaboration on the relationship between organisational culture and competitive advantage in the context of garment firms in Vietnam.

There is currently considerable interest and activity in the adoption of blockchains in food supp... more There is currently considerable interest and activity in the adoption of blockchains in food supply chains (FSC) by both researchers and industry. Blockchain developers have to satisfy the requirements of multiple users and stakeholders as well as handle technical requirements from the underlying blockchain platform. Many prior studies are conceptual and theoretical and there is a need for both a deeper understanding of the problem space and also a need for insights from real-world perspectives, particularly in the FSC context. This study interviewed 14 experts from FSC blockchain application provider companies. The interviews were analysed using a Grounded Theory approach. The preliminary findings presented in this research-in-progress paper show that developers are concerned with: Technical aspects, cost-benefit aspects, management and operational aspects, end-user issues and societal aspects. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the issues involved in developing blockchain applications in FSC.

The blockchain technologies underlying cryptocurrencies have recently gained considerable attenti... more The blockchain technologies underlying cryptocurrencies have recently gained considerable attention for having potential applications in other fields. This is due to potential benefits such as decentralisation, immutability, disintermediation, transparency and traceability. One of the earliest and most active industries to explore blockchain technologies has been the supply chain and logistics industry. However, the literature in this area is fragmented and lacks an overarching framework to integrate the findings and systematically guide research and practice. This paper analyses 37 recent studies retrieved from the literature. The analysis synthesises the themes into a cohesive conceptual framework by taking the concept of Triple Bottom Line (TBL) as an overall perspective. This framework will assist both practitioners and researchers in better understanding the issues involved in implementing blockchains in the supply chain context, by not only considering potential operational economic benefits but also social and environmental impacts.

Purpose-With the advent of new technologies, the integration of blockchain-enabled food supply ch... more Purpose-With the advent of new technologies, the integration of blockchain-enabled food supply chain (FSC) implementations is on the rise. Considering the multilateral, comprehensive, and complex nature of the whole blockchain-enabled FSC implementation process, understanding knowledge management (KM) practices will add value. Prior literature shows that only a few studies have focused on this topic. As such, this study is an attempt to identify and establish key KM enablers for blockchainenabled FSC implementations. Design/methodology/approach-This study conducted a qualitative research approach. By conducting 22 in-depth interviews with experienced blockchain implementation experts in FSC contexts, this study provides interesting insights for academics and practitioners. Findings-The results of the analysis highlighted eight critical KM enablers that directly influence blockchain-enabled FSC implementations. They include external enablers (i.e., regulation and market competition etc.) as well as internal enablers (i.e., people-organizational learning, strategy and leadership, culture, information technology, organizational infrastructure, processes, and activities). Originality/value-This study is one of few studies that identifies KM enablers for blockchain-enabled FSC implementations. Considering the novelty of decentralized blockchain implementations in FSC and its importance in transforming silo-based knowledge exchange to a decentralized operational structure, this study attempts to identify factors that increase the efficiency of blockchain implementations in FSC contexts.
