COMPOUND RUBBER MATERIALS

  • Nitrile

  • Does excellent chemical assistance to oils and gasoline, due to its versatility it is also used in as an application that requires resistance to heat, abrasion, water, and gas permeability. It also performs well in carburetor and fuel pump diaphragms, aircraft hoses, seals, and gaskets as well as oil-lined tubing.

  • Silicone

  • The best choice for extreme temperature applications, insulation from electricity and the ability to repel water.

  • Viton

  • FKM (Fluorocarbon rubber) a compound rubber material which a little bit expensive to neoprene and nitrile rubber, but it gives an outstanding chemical performance which makes a rubber product more sturdy so it will have a strong resistance to any high-temperature solvents or chemicals.

  • EPDM

  • Is excellent for outdoor applications which can be used in a variety of applications, from automotive products to HVAC parts due to its versatility. It is a good, sustainable, and a less expensive alternative to silicone which can last for a long time if used properly.

  • Natural

  • Is an extremely resilient elastomer and an ideal polymer for dynamic or static engineering applications. It came from latex found in the sap of rubber trees. Although, this type of rubber should not be exposed to ozone, oils, or solvents.

  • Neoprene

  • It provides oil- resistant properties and can be used on wire and cables, transportation, and construction industries. This type offers a good balance of performance properties at a reasonable price.

  • Synthetic

  • A functional, low-cost elastomer for general purpose. It provides excellent abrasion resistance, could adhere to metals, a great option for rubber gaskets, seals and other products. It is also a superior choice in extreme temperatures with its good heat resistance and heat-aging qualities, although it is not recommended to use in applications that involve ozone, strong acids, oils, greases, fats, and most hydrocarbons.

  • SBR

  • Styrene-Butadiene is a kind of synthetic rubber which also a replacement for natural rubber in the industrial market today. This compound also contains some elements of polymer which make it less rubbery and more sturdy to maximize its protection capability. It is a cheaper synthetic rubber material that has long-lasting abrasion resistance, which sometimes a suitable replacement for natural rubber.
