These are so cool! Are they hollow - could you use them as a box?

yep! You could probably mod them pretty easily to include a hinge, or to make it so the lid is easier to remove.

    Just asking do they connect?

Yes, actually! You have to remove the top "studs" on the bottom big bricks (so remove the round plates/tiles and expose the studs that hold them on), and then use the normal studs to attach the big brick on top. It's hard to explain but yes, I actually have a "big brick" version of my own avatar sitting on my desk and it holds together nicely.

BTW maybe it's not that hard to explain, I guess.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

lol thats awesome, but couldnt you theoretically just leave holes in the bottom of the bricks? then they would connect and detatch whenever you want
(edit) oh never mind, I just looked @ the instructions and realized that wouldnt work

Thanks! The 2x4 brick design was taken from LEGO's gift-with-purchase from last year, then I modified it to fit the smaller sizes. The cool thing is that the upscaling can theoretically work for various brick shapes!
