Wanted to highlight Kase here as in a game that was severely lacking offensive chances, he was able to create a ton of great chances off individual efforts. He used his size to shrug off defenders, and paired that with some slick hands, which led to some nice plays that found Kase on his way to the net all alone. He didn’t cash in in this game, but loved the aggression, and desire to create offense.

In my own opinion, Kamzik was the best player on the ice throughout the duration of this contest, despite not putting up any points on the scoresheet. At 6’1 and 175 lbs he’s much more physically developed than the majority of his peers, and he was using this advantage quite effectively in all facets of the game. His top speed is quite good for a player his size, and he was using it to beat defenders wide before dropping his shoulder to cut into a prime scoring area. In the offensive zone it was next to impossible to knock him off the puck as he was using his large frame to shield defenders and navigate around the perimeter. On top of that, his stickhandling ability allowed him to maneuver around defenders both in transition and in small areas in the offensive zone, making him difficult to contain and allowing him to gain access to dangerous areas on the ice.
