They are both involved in a new science fiction television series, Nobility. E. J. is the producer and creator while Cas Avnar is the lead actor. The sneak preview of the show is launching at Comic Con in San Diego on July 24th. The show blends comedy and science fiction into a hilarious, original concept. Real people existing in a real world with consequences for people's actions - that is what's at the core of what "Nobility" is. Though described as "Firefly" meets "The Office", "Nobility" is not just about the comedy. If you look at the most preeminent science fiction, both today and over the past 30 years, you'll see that nearly all of them use comedy as a means to open the door to an audience's heart. "Back to the Future", "Indiana Jones", "Firefly", "Buffy", and "Doctor Who" all have this in common. In the 700 years it took for mankind to spread across this arm of the galaxy, Earth became the capital world for all humanity- well, as much as any world could claim to be the capital. As new cultures formed, new alliances emerged, new races developed, and new hostilities were born. This meant the central government - the Confederate Alliance - was left in a situation we all know, one in which regional and national governments fought for sovereignty and undermined the central government's legitimacy by any means necessary.
