When he arrives on the scene the driver is still shaken up, so he speaks to the passenger, Willy about what happened. Willy states that his best friend Darren was driving when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle and hit a telephone pole. However upon further inspection, Officer Jacobs begins to doubt Willy's account of the events. Then when Darren hears his so-called best friend throw him under the bus, he sets the record straight, confirming that in fact Willy was the one driving and caused the accident.
