I wanted...See moreI wanted to bring to life and visually tell the story of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, The Raven. Others have made films with the same name, but they haven't covered the poem, they have looked at his other work and just taken the title. I wanted to put across my own vision on the poem and without an extensive amount of research into other peoples work for inspiration, I have created something fresh, hopefully new and something that the audience has never seen before. I also wanted to leave the audience feeling as though they have seen something great, but at the same time, not spoon feeding them all of the answers to the questions that the film might ask them.
