The entire film takes place in a theater and the location as meaning-bearing has been fundamental to the performance. Theories of Henri Lefebvre act as nodes in the meeting between place and body and where time and space emerge tightly intertwined together with the film camera and the bodies of the actors. We follow a small group of actors in Stockholm rehearsing Shakespeare's Macbeth, but end up in intrigues around power, tradition, class, gender, artistic freedom and the witch's role in the Israel-Palestine conflict.
