Maddy meets Oliver and enters his seductive world: trimmed of life's banalities, boring bits and bathroom breaks; and finessed with useful jump cuts, time-saving musical montages and exciting star cameos. Admittedly, it does have its drawbacks: what with the dialogue censoring, continuity errors and uncertainty over what genre of film she's in (Is it a thriller, a musical... a horror?). An even if it is the desired romcom, dare she dream of a Hollywood ending? Can Maddy's love ever be truly REAL if Oliver's life is forever only REEL? Written by Anonymous See less
