Dahlia's unconventional dietary choices, influenced by a "Shock Jock" and environmental advocacy, lead her to serve insect-based "Grubs_" for dinner. As Annie reluctantly eats it, she experiences unsettling physical reactions. The insects seem to come to life. Annie's transformation into a violent, bug-infested host forces the terrified kids to barricade themselves in their room. The family's nightmarish descent into horror intensifies as the kids fight for survival, trapped and hunted by their own, now-monstrous caregiver.
